In his hometown, he began studying karate as a form of exercise with his brother, Master Anu. R, in 2004. From 2004 onwards, up to 2021, he was trained in Shobukan International Karate by Shihan M. Chirstudas in Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu. Under the blessings and goodness of Master M. Christudas, Master Ajith R has begun karate training and giving classes in his native place of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. In addition to that, Master Ajith R has received karate training from many international masters. He participated in many karate training camps and national and international seminars, and also participated and won in many district, state, national, and international tournaments. He received Black Belts 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Dan from Shihan M. Christudas. In the year 2022, he received his 4th Dan Black Belt.

In the year 2021, on March 16th, Master Ajith R started his own dojo named Elite Karate Academy of India. Later, he left SKA India and formed a new association named Japan Shotokan Association of India, registered by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu. No: 37/2022 is affiliated with the Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association Premier - FSKA.

He is also a postgraduate in Cyber Security. He holds a 4th DAN Black Belt, 1st Dan in KAI (Karate Association of India), is a KIO ( Karate Indian Organization ) Refree, Chief Instructor & Examiner JSA India.
